Meet The Jose Show

Jose Gomez is the DJ, instructor, and host behind every Muévete event. He opens each night with a beginner-friendly Dominican Bachata class, then runs the floor as DJ — bachata, salsa, merengue, reggaeton and dembow — all night.

His approach is simple: make Latin dance feel welcoming, not intimidating. Whether you arrive solo or with a crew, dance every song or watch from a table, the goal is the same — great music, great food, and a real community of people who keep coming back.

Brand History

Muévete started in 2024 as Streetchata Events, a side project pairing Latin dance with food. The Sunday brunch format clicked with the Wellington community and grew into Muévete Brunch through 2025. In 2026 the umbrella brand became Muévete Parties, expanding to private bookings, venue partnerships, and additional event formats across South Florida.
